"We dropped in for lunch unbooked, but were very quickly seated and given the menu and although traditional steak pie and fish and chips were on the menu there was a very varied number of dishes. The waiting staff were attentive without being overly so, and the ambience excellent, the music MOR was just the right volume. It took a little time for us to choose and the waiting staff seemed happy to wait Our food when it arrived was first rate, pork tenderloin and a chicken burger. The meat in both dishes was cooked perfectly as were the chips and salad was room temperature and in a lovely dressing. We did not find fault with any of the experience and will be back soon."
