"Had a nice evening albeit food overall was disappointing. The interior also doesn’t match up now to the outside space, more can be made of things potentially lovely pub. You often find food quality is compromised with festive menus and it becomes more like mass catering so lacked a bit of the quality and finesse of when I have visited previously. Brie bites looked like they were out of a party food box and most of the cheese was already oozing out and therefore stuck to the plate. Mains were pretty good but desserts disappointing, watery custard and a slice of Yule log thinner than a slice of bread. However overall good value and friendly service."

"First time visiting here and although they had run out of some food options and drinks it didn’t effect our choices. The service was really friendly and gave us a choice of places to sit, which was nice. Social distancing was good and seemed to be efficient. Speed of service was excellent. Burger portions are quite small though so definitely recommend a couple of side dishes to go with it. The Ed’s breakfast was a very good portion though and looked amazing (apparently tasted good too). So if you want a casual atmosphere and nice service and food I would highly recommend Ed’s"
"visited as fancied some americana. the ordered burgers who were both good and the sides were also good. really disappointing was the service. the staff really did not seem to care and a person sat in the bar area all the time when we were there. I suggest talking to them or saving money! server were not efficient and kept constantly talking about random things, ignore customers and in our case meant that we spent less money than could not be disturbed to wait for them to take our milkshake order. is not visited again because of bad service."
