"The restaurant was beautiful and the service was excellent, but the flavors were somewhat lacking. We opted for the 3-course menu. The duck pâté was odd and had bits of gristle. The sardines were the only flavorful element in the dish. The trout was good but the presentation seemed a bit outdated. The pork dish was tasty but not very innovative. The chicken was bland and the skin was soggy. The green sauce had a nice kick but lacked flavor. The potatoes were seasoned well and enjoyable. The staff noticed my dissatisfaction and kindly did not charge us for that dish. For dessert, we had a crème brulée with an unbreakable tip and a floor that was tasty but not quite traditional. The apricot layer was the highlight, complementing the lavender sauce beautifully. The chocolate mousse dessert had heavenly components but was not outstanding. The crispy wafer stood out for its texture. A chocolate birthday cake was brought out, but it seemed frozen and was not enjoyable. My favorite part of the meal was the vanilla and passion fruit martini. The French martini was also good. The decor was lovely and floral, but if I were to return, I would prefer to sit at the bar on the first floor."
