"it wasn't even open! so no stars for each category. open table has apologised and given me 1,000 points, but these do not seem to be redeemable in Britain! ambulo has not yet taken over responsibility despite my correspondence with a worker. I'm waiting to be called back. very disappointed!"

"Absolutely my favourite restaurant in Southport. The food and service is first class. Unfortunately since the refurbishment the new seating is terribly uncomfortable. The chairs really hurt my back and my husband agreed they weren’t nice to sit in. I think we would stayed a lot longer and come back sooner if the seats weren’t so bad. The upstairs area was a blessing as it meant we could stay longer because it was so lovely with armchairs and sofas."
