"Came here tonight with Mrs and little boy. Didn't start great, went for the ribeye which I ordered medium it arrived still alive. Uncertain what happened to the mushrooms they were actually harder than the table? How does that even happen. Had a word with the waitress who I think gave chef a few words and a very different ribeye came out the kitchen... Thick juicy ribeye cooked perfect, homemade peppercorn sauce and a freshly grilled flat mushroom. If they had served this first time round I'd of given 5 star but can't on the back of the first attempt. Kids meal was a think quite expensive at £10 but it is what it is. Mrs enjoyed her teriyaki noodles. Nice pub, 4 star and credit to waitress for bringing this review back from the dead."
