"Last year, my Foodie Group went to Yijo and unfortunately had a waitress who was working their for the first time...She was beautiful and friendly, but also useless, so my review was not fulsome, to say the least !However, I decided to give the restaurant another chance and booked a table for 8 people for lunch today. They seemed quite surprised to see us and obviously had no record of our booking, but quickly agreed to put two oblong tables together to make a round square !! , and brought us iced tap water and a selection of pickled vegetables as a complimentary taster while we waited for our orders.I ordered the Bibimbap with beef short ribs, which we delicious, The waiter advised against a starter as the dish is quite substantial. The others, however, order tempura king prawns, seaweed, sweet potato croquettes to start and then a variety of broths and stir fries to follow. All of the dishes were excellent...and the waiter even agreed to bill us separately, which absolved me from complicated mathematics ! We will definitely return here...even though they no longer have the special lunch menu, the prices were reasonable and the food really good."
