"Bill for fish and chips and drinks x 4 came to £80. The chips were flat, wrinkly and may well have been kept warm for some time. I wonder if traditional chippy chips aren 't a bit archaic in this day and age when even a modest eatery boasts triple cooked chips , which at least have some substance and shape. Back in the day we have come here for dinner with friends...on the basis of this last meal I don 't think that is likely in the future."
