"Come here everytime we come blackpool. 2-3 times a year. Got the meal deal. 2x pizzas, garlic bread chips and a drink. 19.90 paid online so 15%discount. Happy days. Went to collect and seen the chicken shwarma looking banging. Have some of that. Charged me £6quid for a tray of it. Small tray at that. Would of been cheaper to get it as a kebab. My fault should of checked what they was going to charge first. Asked for 4 shady little tubs of sauce. Tried charging me 2quid. Asked him to remove them. Food though was tasty. Garlic bread not the best"

"First off despite booking delivery for 22.55 the email said ASAP. Rang an unpleasant chappie who blamed me but said would change to 23.00. Then delivery driver rang at 23.15 and said couldn't find our house. He was at wrong area altogether. Gave him directions and he still couldn't find us and rang back twice. The second time telling me he cant find our address so cant deliver.I rang saying I wanted refund but was told no refund as its been delivered. It eventually turned up at 23.35 as I was attempting to cancel again on phone but getting nowhere apart from abuse so I gave it back and answered the door to be greeted by the delivery plonker telling me off for swearing in my own house behind closed doors as he could hear me ! Oh and the food was atrocious even after warming it up and ended up in the bin."

"I would not give any stars. We placed our food order at 7:30pm. The order was confirmed and an estimated time was given. However, after waiting for over an hour and a half, our order was cancelled without any communication from the restaurant. This was going to be our first time ordering from here, but it will definitely be our last. The service was shocking. Delivery was the meal type, and the price per person was between £1-10."

"Eat is good. I ordered 2 butter rolls and 2 sausages because the children wanted, the delivery had only one butter roll. I called the last to let them know and got a very rude man who ended on the other, he said it could be an hour until I get it to them, and I said it wasn't use because the child sausage would be cold and he said it was just a roll, no big thing, the ignorant sod was fast enough to load me for the butter roll. in any case, the chippy would not use again simply because of the setting this guy"

"Finally! The long neglected gents toilet has finally been refurbished – not completely, but enough that it is no longer the glaring reason not to recommend Bar Italia. I won’t comment any further on a problem that no longer exists other than to say that the refurb was probably 5 years overdue. Staff are great, food is great and a comprehensive choice of drinks. There used to be plenty of food promotions on weekday evenings weekends, sadly no longer but the food is good enough that I don’t mind paying full price. Pizzas in particular are prepared by the bar, so they tend to be fairly open to substituting ingredients extra spicy etc. They are now officially closed on Sundays which is a shame, but it was sufficiently quiet that it probably makes sense. Monday evenings can be a bit hit and miss"

"Having been a customer for the last 20 years I have to say how disappointing it is that I have to write this review. Considering we are in a cost of living crisis as are the restaurant's that serve us, I still find it hard to accept a meal (chicken kebab) can cost £10. This is where my problem is with this review. If you charge a premium price for food then you have to make sure it is good. Chicken kebab salad and a couple of sauces with a small tip almost £20. The chicken was not hot so resulted in it being very dry, the garlic sauce was nothing short of terrible. The worst thing is me and my partner took a chance tonight rather than getting a Chinese or Indian and guess what..... The difference is a million miles away.... Only OK for pizza.... "I like good food, but I'm not particularly demanding either. This food is by far the worst I've ever tasted in Birmingham since the last 10 years or so. I ordered 2 kebabs (pita chicken) and a cheese burger. I was hungry yet I couldn't eat any of them. The burger meated tastes like polystyrene or something. Kebab meat was greasy beyond imagination. There are many kinds of quality in kebab meat, this one is clearly the bottom one. It was also full of these cheap chili and mayo sauce. The overall impression is that every single ingredient of this food is the cheapest existing on the market. Don't expect to enjoy this food, except if you are accustomed to extremely low standards."
