"My friends and I dined here on a Wednesday evening having pre booked a table in advance via their website. We were attending a show at the Theatre nearby so the location was convenient for us as it's right near the MK Theatre. Plenty of (paid) parking nearby. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere but the seating is comfortable hard wooden chairs. We ordered a variety of starters, mains and desserts and all agreed that the food was poor to mediocre at best. The pollo cacciatore was not very pleasant the pasta was overcooked to the point of being slimy mushy. My Tiramisu portion was very small considering full price of this is around £7. We utilised a Tastecard discount for 2 for 1 on starters, mains and desserts. I would have been disappointed had I paid full price for this meal. Overall, whilst the location and service is very good the food is very poor and there are definitely better dining options in the vicinity."

"Made the mistake of eating here tonight. Surprisingly open instead of the usual excuses of staff. Ordered first of three couples. They were all served before us and waited untill they had finished before we got our order and when questioned this the waitress 'Kitsty ' was rude stroppy and unhelpful. Completely in the wrong job as has zero customer service manners or class. She said that the manager had looked into it and you didn 't wait that long but he couldn 't be bothered to talk to us. When asked for his name was told no chance. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else. Mediocre food and bad bad attitude!!!!!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Probably the worse carbonara I had ever had to date. I’m a good cook and I can literally make a pasta in minutes. It’s the easiest and quickest to make. But his place don’t cook it when you order. It tasted like it was put in a microwave. Seriously guys, about £15 for a small plate of carbonara like this is an absolute ripe off!!!! At least have the decency to cook it fresh and properly. Mine was undercooked and the meat in it will likely get me sick later.i complained in a polite way as I believe constructive criticisms is essential and the couple sitting near me heard me and said their pasta was bland and disgusting as well. I was whispering but she must have heard me talking to the waitress which was not my intention but it’s a small place By the way the seating near the gents toilet has a dead spider on the wall and filthy. Please have the decency to clean the place a bit as well. The walls need a paint job. The last time I visit this place. If that’s customer experience I’d hate to see your kitchen. Pizza and pasta are literally the easiest things you can cook. Also the most profitable as just flour with a few extras. I was expecting a lot more from this chain. No idea how you are still in business. Even Jamie Oliver can do it and he’s no chef and closes the majority of his places down once the public discovered the guy can’t cook either. This area has many tourists and his is likely why you guys are being lazy. Please get your act together and hire people that can actually cook a simple dish that takes minutes for an average person to prepare. Unacceptable."

"If you’re searching for a reliable British/American-style Italian restaurant, you might find what you’re looking for here. However, if you want genuinely good gluten-free Italian cuisine, you should continue your search. The gluten-free starters come with a small slice of bread that is essentially just a piece of their pizza crust. They were out of gluten-free pasta when I visited, so I opted for the pizza. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing, especially given the many excellent gluten-free pizza options available elsewhere. The cocktails were overwhelmingly sweet, and the selection was limited. There were only a few types of wine available, without any specific brands mentioned. The prices are too high for food that is, at best, mediocre. There are many better gluten-free options in the city, so I recommend trying one of those instead."

"We had a great night on Saturday, 19 of us celebrating my partners 50th. (Apologies to any of the other guests if they found us to be too loud ????). Given the size of the party we were asked to pre order, which wasn't an issue. We were meant to be a party of 20 but a last minute cancellation was no problem for them. Food was great, service was fabulous and would definitely recommend. Thank you for looking after us ????"

"We have always been well served by trent bridge spice until tonight. Rang in and ordered a delivery. Our normal order, which they had on their records, doner meat and chips and a doner kebab. They said they were busy and it would take an hour, which was fine. Delivery turned up in an hor, which was fine, and we paid £12 instead of the actual price, £11, which we always do. Turned out that my wife got her meat and chips which was fine, but I got a tray of chips by itself. I tried ringing but they were constantly engaged. Who the hell would order doner meat and chips and then more chips? Sorry, just pissed off and hungry at thè moment."

"we wanted a beautiful departure place while we had a night trip through the city. while they looked disappointing from the outside, it was one of the best pizzas we had. if they don't want the chic artisanal pizzas that are in the whole city, this is a great stop. get a part of the chili sauce, garlauch mayo mix them and have as a diving sauce. absolutely magical. definitiw a hidden gem in the city"

"The restaurant is extremely expensive considering the quality of the food and service. There are not enough staff members, and those who are working seem to be overwhelmed. The service is slow, the cocktails are inconsistent, and the atmosphere is loud. We were surprised to find a large group of children in the room next to us on a Sunday night, making it difficult to enjoy our meal. I would recommend saving your money and dining elsewhere. Food: 2/5"

"I went in the Teras for lunch take out start of February as I saw in the window 2 courses for £11.99, which I thought seemed reasonable. The gentleman behind the counter seemed very nice and polite. All of a sudden a young lady came out after hearing I wanted a take away on that deal. No No she screamed, that’s if you’re sitting in! I was quite shocked by her reaction. There was no one else in the restaurant which made me surprised that she didn’t want my £11.99 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, take away or otherwise. Wanted to try their lamb doner which is infused with chillies, as going to be risky because not everyone likes chillies. Now I will never know what it is like, I decided to spend my hard earned £11.99 on another local business which appreciated it."

"A delightful local treasure! The service was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we never felt hurried. The food was delicious and offered great value. We enjoyed sitting by the window, taking in the view of the surrounding bars and restaurants. We'll definitely be returning!"

"Four of us ordered the Sunday roast, two Lambs, one beef and the lentil cake. All four meals were beautifully presented and very tasty. We were meeting up with an old friend we hadn’t seen for ages and we had such a good time, we all enjoyed our food and “forced” ourselves to have desert and coffee to finish off the lunch. In fact we enjoyed it so much we have booked to go back on 15th! Definitely recommend this place."

"I really enjoyed bubbacue, it had relaxed atmosphere, choice of sandwiches (the other were and looked really delicious,) bowl (kept) or salat. meat choices were pork (spoken or spicy sausage,) beef or chicken, with halloumi for vegetarians. these ties in beautiful with their sandwich wrap that I think is a great note (you can see the bowl sitting on them). sitting places were good, with dark wood and neon signs was cool. In portions sizes were good, as we had no breakfast and stopped until dinner. good selection of sauces on the tables let us add their own preference. the prices were also good, the menu with the trips is in the pictures."

"What an absolute joy this restaurant was. Everything was deliciously cooked and beautifully presented. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The restaurant itself is cozy and friendly with really lovely staff. Highlights were the goat cheese bruschetta and the haggis pasta. I wish I’d tried this place sooner as it is just stunning. The prices are amazingly good value."

"Despite eating out regularly, I am very selective about where I dine. I take the time to research and ask friends for recommendations to ensure a satisfactory experience. While I am familiar with dining options in Glasgow, I find Edinburgh to be more challenging with its diverse offerings. I typically prefer to dine near Haymarket or Waverley, but struggle to find suitable options in the area. Although I enjoy dining in Leith, the distance can be a hindrance. For my recent visit to Edinburgh, I sought recommendations from locals and was pleased with the suggestion I received."
