"The food was great as well as the environment. Most of the staffs were really great and served us well. Everything was nice before one of the staffs, his name is Asif, who came over to put us in a really bad costumer experience. We reserved the table at 6:00 p.m for 2. We knew that we need to finish in 2 hours, which should be 8:00p.m. Asif came over to our table at 7:00 p.m to ask us finish everything in 30mins because we just arrived 10mins earlier than our booking time. That was really unpleasant. I mean if he can do the math well, even we arrived 10 mins earlier, we were not expecting to finish at 7:30p.m. Moreover after we already paid the bill at 7:45p.m and prepared to go, he came over to our table again to ask us to leave the table. This attitude was really not acceptable. I could not feel anything but offended. I love the food and other staffs, everything was fantastic. But this guy really destroy your restaurant’s reputation."

"We finished our last meeting at around 630pm near St Paul and walked towards the Grange Hotel. One of my colleagues wanted to eat Japanese and know about Miyama, Its a nice place with a basement dinning area. London is a very cosmopolitan city and its easy to find Asian food, including Jap, Indian and Thai. Can't be eating fish and chips every day: Spacious and comfortable. I tried the hot soba with seafood with wild vegetables. The seafood was crab meat, some fish roe, some fish cakes and plenty of vegetables. The hot noodle and soup much welcome when the temperature outside on the streets was around 10c.We shared an order of fried bean curd and sashimi. Both the food and service was good, except that one of the wait staff served a beer which we did not order. Taking notes of the various food places within the City. This is location is near St Paul's which is a major tourist landmark. No need to use google map to find this place the next time, if there is an opportunity to be London again in the future..."

"I visited taberu a few days after they first opened to try their vegetable gyoza (£3.80) and salmon skin roll (£5). The restaurant didn't seem fully operational yet, with empty refrigerators and tables, a closed door, and a flickering light deterring some potential customers. However, I was happy to find that they were indeed open and serving delicious food! The gyoza was sweet and the salmon skin in the roll was crispy and flavorful. Overall, the food was excellent despite the initial appearance of the restaurant."
"So glad this incredible little Japanese local is within walking distance of my house. First time we came we ordered the sushi special which came with proper crab, which is SO hard to find! the pork and ginger with shredded cabbage which were both great and we really enjoyed it. Second time round we ordered the beef udon with shiitake tempura tempura soba and they were 100% top notch on a cold evening. I really loved the udon noodles, the meat broth was too good 美味しい! . Really interesting series of ice cream. Roasted soy kuromitsu gets 11/10 for me and the anko maple was incredible too. I'd love to see more desserts on the menu because I absolutely love Japanese desserts. I've already decided next time I'm getting the special seafood tempura boat and banana tempura! Definitely coming back, I love Tokyo Retro!"

"First time I have order from them, saw them on Uber Eats and said, why not? Price are very reasonable and the quality is really high! I 've worked in a Japanese restaurant so I can confidently say the fish is fresh. I had the beef Teriyaki which was delicious and the Fish roll box. The only thing I would have improved is that in the description of the box it says Tuna roll when actually it was Spicy Tuna roll. Unfortunately I cannot have spicy food due to a medical procedure, but my housemate had the rolls and confirmed they were delicious hence I kept it 5 stars."
"I had a wonderful lunch with my niece today, and we both loved it! The atmosphere was modern and beautiful, creating a really relaxed vibe. The waitresses were very attentive, too. We were the first ones to arrive for lunch, but the place soon started to fill up. Since it's a new restaurant, I understand it may take some time to get busy. I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent the vegetarian menu was; the herb tempura vegetarian noodles are a must-try, and the chocolate fondant dessert paired with Pinot Noir red wine was simply perfect. I can't wait to come back and try it for dinner with friends! xx"

"there is currently a vegan set menu as the only option, but it was a culinary joy! Unfortunately, the music provided by a dj was so loud that it was almost impossible to conduct a conversation. it is also very dark inside, with black walls and low lighting. eating fine in a nightclub atmosphere. If that's your ding, you could just love it!"

"I had the pleasure of dining in at this fantastic sushi restaurant during lunch. The price per person was incredibly reasonable, ranging from £1 to £10. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5 out of 5. The service was equally impressive, also a solid 5. The atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable, making it an overall delightful experience with another 5 rating. For those who are vegetarians, I highly recommend checking out their vegetarian offerings. They have a dedicated vegetarian menu, and all vegetarian dishes are clearly labeled, ensuring a hassle-free dining experience for veggie lovers."

"It only just occurred to me that I've never left a review here for our absolute favorite sushi restaurant in the Springs. I can't say enough good things about them. First, the sushi is so fresh, and the portions are generous. I've never found another restaurant (not just in the Springs, but anywhere I've traveled where such thick, skillfully sliced filets of fish topped a minimal portion of rice on their nori selections. I brought co workers from my company's home office in Melbourne, FL, and they said it was the best sushi they've ever eaten. Did you catch that?? They're from a coastal city in FLORIDA!! It was a great endorsement for AI. As for the staff, they're wonderful. And extremely hard working. It's a family business, and there are times when you'll find all the family members working. As regulars, we're often greeted with a hug. : COVID has affected all restaurant businesses in many ways. Any comments I've read here, short of praising the restaurant, don't seem to take that into account. As any restaurant owner or manager in this city (or, country, for that matter , will tell you, they either can't find anyone to work, or can't keep anyone. It's ridiculous. Recently, the owner of another Asian establishment here in town asked me if I knew anyone who'd be interested in a cashier job. He was paying $20 an hour, and couldn't find anyone to take it!! That's what the restaurant industry is facing these days. Anyway, if you love sushi, and you haven't already been to AI on Centennial (not to be mistaken for AI on Powers, which is owned and operated by different people , you need to give them a try. You'll discover great food and friendly people. And, you'll be a customer for life!"
