"We went to Kongs to try food from Hoba for the first time. As I ordered for a friend, I asked the barman to not add the peanuts to his dish. When the food came, the chef came out to explain the food had been prepared and cooked on the other side of the kitchen and that he made sure it couldn 't have been contaminated. We couldn 't have asked for such attention when some places don 't always take it seriously. I didn 't have the heart to tell the chef our friend wasn 't as 'severely allergic ' as he had been informed. However, it shows just how seriously they take allergies which is comforting and a great reflection on the chef and his team. Food was brilliant too! We will definitely be going back."
