"As the title says, my friends and I had a terrible experience and absolutely wouldn’t order again. We waited 45 minutes for our delivery, only to have to phone and be told they’d never even received the order because “the tablet they receive those orders from had no battery”. Not being funny but if you’re open for business on a website it’s pretty poor to not actually be checking if you’ve revived orders if you’re taking peoples money out of their bank accounts. On the order site there is also no option to contact the business, or track the order, or get any kind of refund or lodge a complaint, or lastly to leave a review. We were absolutely willing to give this the benefit of the doubt when they seemed ok to let us tell them what our orders were over the (rather tedious) phone call so they could prepare them. We then waited at least another 25 minutes before having to phone back and ask where our order was as we were very close to the restaurant and felt this was unreasonable. We were told it was already on its way and it would be “3 minutes”. We quite literally timed it and after 10 minutes we walked there ourselves to find it was in fact absolutely not on its way, and we collected the food with barely any apology offered. Terrible service, the audacity to behave like that when you’re charging non-optional service charge too! We all work in hospitality ourselves and would never have the audacity. The food itself was surprisingly better, the fries were fresh, the Mac and cheese balls were quite good, burgers again pretty fresh and tasty but the only complaint that was the halloumi burger contained the hardest, most unripened avocado ever and it was extremely unpleasant. Additionally it would be very helpful to have an option to let people amend ingredients i.e remove pickles, particularly for those with allergies or dietary requirements."
