"I took my grandaughter to McLarens last Sunday for afternoon tea. Our tables booked for 2.15. By 3pm we had been served pots of tea but nothing else. After several enquiries and being give various excuses (food was being freshly prepared, there was only 1 chef on, stand was being loaded) but no apologies we finally left at 3.40pm with no food having been served! I know restaurants are struggling just now due to covid but this was ridiculous. We should have been told at the start there would be an hour and a half wait to be served. A very unpleasant experience. We will not be back!!!!"

"We went to Loch Fyne for our wedding anniversary. It was an excellent meal, I had whole sea bass the best tasting fish i have had since tasting fresh sea bass in Turkey about years ago. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the poached smoked...haddock. We were very well looked after by our Waitress Dove who took extra care to ensure my meal was absolutely gluten free (being coeliac). Money very well spent. Thank you."
