"This pub is historically interesting but also gets everything else right too. Good food and a good selection of quality ales. It was a Wednesday evening and medium busy. We ate at a quieter end of the bar but could still enjoy the atmosphere. Initially a bit concerned about the piped music which I don’t generally like, (could maybe have been a bit quieter? , but it turned out to be a nicely eclectic mix and didn’t actually overpower conversation. Particularly friendly and efficient waiters and bar staff. Will definitely return when next in Leeds. Thanks."
