"promising from the outside. However, once we got inside the restaurant, the service was terrible and the food was mediocre at best. The staff seemed disorganized and unfriendly, and the overall atmosphere was just not welcoming. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone based on my experience. Save yourself the disappointment and choose a different place to dine."

"Fab afternoon tea, lovely sandwiches and cakes. Service was brilliant from reception to bar to manager. A few minor niggles that reduced some scores, lift out of order meaning had to carry pram up flight of stairs to entrance. No baby change facilities, reception didn't realise/believe this and kept sending us to disabled toilets saying there was a table in there. Once we convinced them there wasn't (they checked themselves too! they spoke to shift manager who opened an empty room for us to use. Couldn't fault the helpfulness and willingness of manager to find a solution to our rather smelly conundrum! Overall would readily go back for any occasion. Oh and as a side note, although I've not stated here the room we used quickly looked amazing!"

"I have booked a table for 6 for me and 5 customers. When I arrived, I found my table to be a little circular for two. I asked a coworker about where he refused to believe that I had booked a table for 6 and said that it was for 2 after I had shown him my email that it was a booking for 6 ... his answer was 'well, that's all we have to find 'I just have a few more chairs'. it was incredibly embarrassing to press 6 people on this tiny table directly at the bar, with people who smuggled into us all night, and finally my client said they couldn't sit there anymore and we had to go into another bar. I really liked their venue, but after that I tried to see why I would ever return or recommend it to everyone."
