"Just had the best meal we have had all year. The White Horse has always been good but this was a leap forward. Amazing flavours and excellent ingredients cooked with great flair and imagination. My wife had sage and mustard gnocchi with roast root vegetables followed by twice baked brie souffle, sweet fig puree, granola and mulled wine syrup. I had fillet of beef, slow cooked short rib, pomme anna, confit carrot, braised red cabbage and red wine jus followed by baked white chocolate cheesecake with caramelised pistachios. With two glasses of rose and two pints of Earl Soham brewery's top bee Victoria Bitter, why travel miles when you can find food this amazing on your doorstep?"
