"Booked Hemsley Helmsley at Selfridges for Mother's Day breakfast. We waited at the wonderful Brasserie of Light as it didnt open until 11.30am and when we got there it was a drab little space on the 3rd floor of Selfridges. Almost empty with depressing chairs and tables. We sat down and looked at the menu and couldn't see any breakfast idea. We asked if we could have breakfast and were told that they dont do breakfast on sundays. I really didnt fancy a quinoa salad at that stage and we left and went back to the wonderful Brasserie of Light on the first floor which was AMAZING. There were no Mothers Day notices in H H no flowers on the table, it looked unloved and drab not what I was expecting at all."
