"We visited Thomas' for the first time on Monday and there were several things that didn't go right. Firstly, I had to get up and walk to the staff on various occasions to ask for things like tea refill and water. Secondly, we waited a very long time for our cakes to arrive (we ordered afternoon tea for three people). The staffs seemed inexperienced and it really showed. When the food was brought to our table our server did not introduce any of the cakes or sandwiches. We felt neglected and although the staffs were not rude they didn't appear professional as they kept on hanging around by the bar and we certainly felt that we had to hunt them for service. All in all it wasn't a good experience and it was also my sister's birthday, which was noted by the chap who welcomed us at the entrance but if wasn't followed through upstairs at the restaurant."
