"Run out of the most appealing items on the menu by 7.10pm using the weather as an excuse when as non locals we had traversed the island for two days in the rain. Lazy and inept management, poor communication and utterly disappointing. Fly to Inverness, drive to the Isle of Skye and then one hour round trip on the island to get to the venue and you don’t have food? We had a reservation! Anyone with a microcosm of hospitality training and intelligence would have called us (phone number clearly in the booking) and said if they were running out of food. I think more likely complete laziness and incompetence in the kitchen. All the effort to get there for a bowl of chips and a microwave sticky toffee pudding. Completely wretched. Shame on you."
