"We had a pleasant evening for six of us in a lovely setting with a nice atmosphere. However, the food seemed a bit overpriced. For example, the scallop starter was £16 for just one scallop, and the trout portion was similarly small. The main courses were cooked exceptionally well, particularly the beef Wellington, which four of us ordered. However, the portions of vegetables on our plates were minimal. We also ordered extra sides, including crispy rosemary potatoes, but they were so crispy that they were nearly inedible, and there was no trace of rosemary. Looking back, given the amount we spent, the overall experience was somewhat disappointing. Unfortunately, we likely won't be returning."
