"We went to Simply Indian for dinner based on the reviews on Trip Advisor, but we were wildly disappointed. We made a reservation, so they knew in advance to expect a party of 3. Nobody else was in the restaurant. There was only 1 person working, and he did not speak English. He took our orders and after 35 minutes of waiting, another gentlemen showed up to help him. The second guy appeared to be the cook and it sounded to us like he was yelling at the first guy. We asked if we should change our order to make it easier because so much time had passed, and the second guy shouted at us. He shouted at us that we disrupted his concentration. Then after dinner while we were drinking our after dinner tea, the second guy left to deliver food. The first guy didn’t know how to charge us on the credit card machine. Finally after waiting 30 minutes to pay, we paid with cash, even though we knew he told us a price at least 20 quid more than it should’ve been. Such a poor experience. We would NOT recommend it."
