"cumin club are so friendly and helpful! I've been a loyal customer for years. for vegetarians there is so much choice and for vegan cumin club can vegan-ise their menu. I usually order the tasty beside dishes (kickbäse, spinat, kartoffeln, lentils-curry etc.) and chapati brot when I’m home with a takeaway (to collection.) but if there is in the restaurant, there is really so much choice and some really interesting dishes. always a winner and not too expensive! They can also modify the court to the loads of garlic (like I crazy for garlic) or make it more spicy etc. the restaurant is actually over 2 etagens, so its very rare that seating places are not available (except its Valentine's Day.. and even then they managed to press it without having booked in advance) try it, they will not be destroyed!"

"Went for the first time as part of the Eat out to help out scheme and we already said that we will be coming back. I often just default to a chicken Korma but I was determined to try something new and chose the Haandi lamb and was very happy with it. The peshwari naan and keema rice were delicious as well. There are only a handful of tables so if you are coming from further away and want to eat here you should probably book a table in advance just in case."

"Great food, friendly service and excellent value. After visiting the theatre on a Friday night we found that this was the only restaurant still open in the area (it was only 10pm). The staff were very friendly, the food arrived relatively quickly, and was delicious. All the staff seemed very friendly and keen to make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend."

"Unwelcoming. Very slow service, had to ask a person who worked in the back who was not a waiter to serve us and he was very nice, if he hadn't done so we would have left. They should employ him as front man! Wrong dish was served. Service was unfriendly, like we were not wanted there. As they served the wrong dish I had to eat my food after the person accompanying me had finished his. Is a large restaurant which is a little chilly, absolutely no effort by the waiters and no ambience, there was some background music but could hardly hear it. Shame because the food is very good and has been since they opened. No good for couples."

"What a pleasant surprise this beautiful restaurant turned out to be! When we arrived, I was unsure of what to expect, as the building next door looked quite run down. However, this lovely restaurant is just behind it and is absolutely stunning. We received a warm welcome, and everything looked so appealing. The buffet was amazing, with a fabulous selection and incredibly fresh food. I especially appreciated the unlimited naan and poppadoms included in the buffet, unlike other places where they charge extra for them. The gentleman who served us was incredibly kind and made us feel truly welcome. This little hidden gem is somewhere we will definitely visit again soon. Thank you!"

"We visited a fast food restaurant with a comfortable seating area, including high chairs for children (a nice touch). My family and I visited last Saturday afternoon and enjoyed a variety of Indian, Chinese, and standard fast food items such as kebabs and pizzas. Our order was freshly cooked and overall very tasty. "Has Something has changed at SHAPLA??..... I think so, and for the good of Moulsham! I ordered about 10 items including 2 mains, 3 sides, onion Bhaji and bread. This is probably the 6th or 7th curry I’ve taken away from here over a few years. I’ve always found it decent but no more. The staff and owners have been friendly a s courteous but the food has never been stand out to me. Until this time..IF THIS IS THE NEW STANDARD COUNT ME IN! There’s a sense of establishment about the place where traditions and skills are passed down to the young lot and so forth. And it feels, from tasting the various dishes that I ordered, that they’ve hit onto good times in the kitchen and throughout. My point is.... every dish was WELL EXECUTED. The chicken Tikka in the Dhansak was big, tender, colourful and tasted like char grilled properly. the Dhansak (without sugar as requested) was perfect, thick wet consistency with a myriad of flavours exploding in the mouth at every bite. And the vindaloo hot, tandoori chicken sashlik balti was wonderful with its mix of char singed onions and broken up pieces of tandoori chicken kicking out some serious heat on the firm. All sides were banging sag paneer was sweet coconuts and creamy cheese business. The onion Bhajiis reminded of the street food in Chandigarh when I visited once. But the standout for me was the sag aloo which was well balanced in its seasoning and freshness. A complete triumph! Let me tell ya, that doesn’t happen very often. Please please SHAPLA keep up the high standard and I’ll forever be your friend. Thank you, Chad"

"Abysmal, all the recent negative reviews on Google about this restaurant are accurate. Unfortunately I read them after I placed my order. There were 3 or 4 missing items yet they had the audacity to put a box of egg rice (like sand) and write “free egg rice on the house” what a joke. Th food which included a set meal of many items was sent out too early, was not fresh, all tasted of low quality. The worst thing of all was the lazy delivery driver who called my mobile struggling ' to find my house, the whole time he was sat in the car, and my husband ended up out for more than 5 minutes when he returned he said he was the one who had to open the driver 's passenger door and take the food himself. Staff could all do with a lesson or 2 on customer service. DO NOT ORDER from this restaurant."

"I recently enjoyed a wonderful set meal at this restaurant. The chicken tikka and seekh kebab starters, along with the salad, onion salad, and minted yogurt, were all delicious. The portion sizes were generous and the naan bread was soft and excellent. However, two of the main courses were somewhat disappointing as they were too sweet. The chicken tikka masala and mattar paneer seemed overly sweet, almost like a dessert. It's a shame because the underlying flavors were good. I would have given a higher rating if it weren't for this issue. We had booked online and received a text message notifying us that delivery would be delayed by 40 minutes. Initially, we considered canceling our order. However, after making a phone call, our meal was delivered in just 30 minutes. It's definitely worth calling to place your order!"

"Finally I've found a worthy curry house I can be happy regularly since my previous favorite, massala, burned a year or so before. great service and eat that well presented and especially delicious! I had a tikka madras and it had only the right amount of heat was still full of taste. the shami kebab starter was great and the naan was probably one of the best I ever had. my only smaller negatiw is that in contrast to most curry houses it is quite brightly lit, which means that it loses a little of the atmosphere that they normally expect in an Indian restaurant. but if there was a choice between great food and atmospheric lighting, it will win every time!"

"The food is good but what's the point when it often doesn't turn up? Once could be a mistake, twice I'm starting to look for somewhere else and by the third time that I'm sat like a lemon waiting for a delivery I've decided I've had it with this place. It wouldn't be so bad if they cared but they just want to make excuses. The last straw was that they told me it was my fault the good didn't arrive because I ordered on line.
