The ambience was great as usual, with a more festive atmosphere as diners enjoyed what was called their "last supper" at the West End location. Unfortunately, Balbirs is closing in the West End but will continue in Ayrshire. I can't help but wonder if they will still deliver..."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem that exceeded expectations in terms of food quality. The only downside was the overcooked lamb in the madras dish, which prevented it from getting a perfect 5-star rating. However, the chicken corma was excellent with large chicken breast pieces and a tasty sauce. The bombay kartoffeln was also delicious. The fragrant and light rice complemented the meal perfectly. The prices were reasonable and the delivery was fast. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again."

"I made a reservation to watch the England game and was seated at a fantastic table right in front of the screen. The food was outstanding, surpassing the quality of other Indian restaurants in the area that I have visited. "Food Poisoning! Beware! After enjoying a meal with some friends, we all wound up with a wicked case of food poisoning the following day. While the food was tasty, it's not worth it! I followed up with the management who was unhelpful and indifferent. Poor customer service. There are so many great restaurants in Tooting- avoid this one!"

"Since we last visited some years ago the Everest has made a real effort with their décor including a new beer garden out front. Lighting inside is decorative and colourful but overall ambience is a little too bright maybe? Our food was very disappointing, we ordered Everest Special Mismas and Mixed Grill Masala as mains. Both were higher priced dishes that were supposed to include prawns but there were none in either dish. The Mismas didn 't look anything like the menu photo but in fairness they do state Photos are for suggestion only: Actual Platters may appear DIFFERENT . The Masala grill was described as medium sauce but our dish was very mild with no trace of chilli heat. The stuffed paratha was undercooked and greasy. Pilau rice and vegetable bhuna side however were both very good. Kingfisher and Cobra are served on draft but both were charged 30p a pint more than the printed menu price it 's gone up was the explanation. Prices overall are fair but I was hoping for authentic tasty food that at least lived up to the menu descriptions."

I live in a house share and because someone else opened the door and said they didn’t order anything he called me shouting, accusing me of lying about my address. "This was my first time visiting this restaurant, but it definitely won't be my last. A friend recommended it to me and I had an excellent dining experience. The food was delicious, with a wide selection on the menu to choose from. The drinks list was impressive, the decor was beautiful, and the staff were attentive. The restaurant manager was very pleasant, and as we were celebrating my friend's belated birthday, he surprised us with a complimentary glass of prosecco and a cake with a sparkler - a really nice touch. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and absolutely loved it."

"Went for my sister’s bday. Had a great time. Only few things is that they don’t give tap water and charge a lot for a small bottle of water. They don’t accept card payment. It must be cash for now because they haven’t installed the card payment machine, there is an atm right outside the lounge. The food was too tasty and will be back again to have it again. The Mocktails are so good and generally it was a nice vibe and great ambience. The staff were really attentive and made my sisters day really lovely."

"This small, cozy, hidden gem is one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. The customer service was excellent, and the staff were knowledgeable. From starters to main courses, everything was perfect. As a food enthusiast who has tried butter chicken from all around the world, I must say that their specialty butter chicken ranks in the top 3 on my list. The food was incredible and reasonably priced. The only small suggestion would be to have slightly faster service, but the quality of the food made the wait worth it. "this restaurant is a real hidden gem. there is an interesting and varied menu with some of which we had not seen before. the waiters gave excellent advice regarding selection and selection and are the most interested I can remember. we shared the hotplate for two between three of us and there were generous amounts of delicious and freshly cooked paprika. we ordered a selection of different curries for the main course and they were all well cooked and very tasteful. the portions were generous and we fought for the conclusion. the waiters were thrilled to discuss other dishes when we were finished and most pleasantly thanked us for the need and encouraged us again. we will definitely try if we are back in the opposite!"

"All 4 dishes were stunning. The scallops were so sweet and enhanced by the delicate sauce. The prawns were succulent and meaty and the salmon was moist and fragrant from the beautiful blend of exotic spices. Gomezadams is not a fan of salmon so I sat there, like a cat in a fishmonger, hoping to snatch his salmon. Alas, he ate the whole thing with delight, much to my chagrin. My favourite dish was the soft shell crabs! Sweet but spicy, soft but crunchy!"

"Was looking for an authentic Indian restaurant in Wembley after travelling from the North of England, found the restaurant on google and chose to book it. I have to say Baarish Restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious and after having tried many Indian restaurants in central London, Baarish’s food definitely matches it. I had the butter chicken which was extremely flavourful, butter naan nice and soft and topped off with their mocktail Sunset which was delicious. The staff were very welcoming and even though the restaurant was quite busy everything was in order and service was excellent. All the staff very very attentive and friendly. The vibe of the restaurant was excellent very well designed giving the feel of India with the wood design. A perfect place to take a few pictures. Overall, I loved this restaurant and would choose it over places in the city as it delivered in every aspect perfectly. Will definitely be back. Thank you"

"Although it was New Year’s Eve, when we arrived, it was clear that the booking hadn’t been transferred from the app to the book by the restaurant and as such we were seated over 35 minutes late. The table was not in a great position as it was in the way of the route to the toilet, but not really a major issue. Apart from when the food was brought to the table, there was no interaction with anyone from the restaurant. I had to chase for additional drinks and for a cloth to clean the table after the starters. Food was good and no complaints there."

"We always get takeaway from here as it’s our fave Indian round here. We went to eat in and couldn’t believe the price difference, was so much more expensive to eat in. I understand you pay for service but it was about an extra tenner. We went on a Tuesday and was disappointed they aren’t doing the 50% scheme. Food was amazing as always, just too expensive so we wouldn’t eat in again."

"First when we were seated we had the menus and two of them were so dirty. I had to ask for another ones. The food was not good at all. My burger, which is the fusion one made out of a mix of flour and meat and probably eggs as it was so hard. It did not feel like burger at all. The ribs were not great either as they were made of cheap quality meat. The whole experience was not pleasant as of hygiene, food quality, and also the price. I will never be back and I will advise friends not to try."
