"Initially, we found ourselves sitting next to a rowdy crowd, but they quickly arranged a special table for us in a quieter area. They went above and beyond to accommodate us with genuine smiles. To top it off, they surprised us by pairing our good beers with champagne and a delightful assortment of vegetarian appetizers. Above all, the service was gracious and cheerful.
The food exceeded all our expectations—it was, without a doubt, the best Indian cuisine any of us had ever tasted. Our group of seven, hailing from various food-centric cities in the USA, including Portland, Oregon, and New York City, was truly awakened by Mala's culinary offerings. During our five-day trip, which included lunch at Ottolenghi, we unanimously declared Mala our favorite dining experience."
