"First visited The Ninth when it opened, before it had even earned a Michelin star. I'm pleased to report that it has survived lockdown with its fabulous food and exemplary service intact. The atmosphere is still calm and relaxed, with a varied menu of sharing plates for both moderate and adventurous palates. The addictively savoury cuttlefish pasta and silky rosemary ice cream that accompanied the apple tarte tatin were standouts, but there is no disappointing dish here, and the cocktails are also a treat."
