"We have visited The Fleet on several occasions and have generally found it to be a good place to dine. However, during our most recent visit, there were some issues. The table we had booked through OpenTable was initially lost in the system, but fortunately it was eventually found and reserved for us. Despite there being six of us, there was only one menu on the table and we were not offered a wine list. The website had advertised a promotion where ordering fish from the Friday specials board would come with a free 175ml glass of house wine if you quoted "I love fish", but the waitress seemed unaware of this offer. Two members of our party enjoyed their dishes from the specials menu, which included sea bass with risotto. However, the portion sizes were disappointingly small - the risotto portion was meager and the sea bass appeared to have been cut in half. The service was lacking, as the waitress seemed unprepared and the pub was not very busy at the time. Overall, this visit was very disappointing."
