"I booked a late lunch for my husband’s birthday using Open Table. Beforehand I notified the restaurant or the occasion and asked if there was anything special that could be done. Upon arrival we had the most wonderful window table and a little sign saying ’happy birthday’ once we sat a complimentary beer was handed to my husband which was very kind. The food was incredible. My seafood chowder was delicious immense and honestly the most delicious dish I have eaten in any restaurant. My husband has fish and chips which was huge, fresh and delicious too. Whilst we are we watched a seal play in the harbour sharing a very nice bottle of wine. Once we finished our food, the staff played happy birthday and brought out some cake for my husband. The Lookout definitely went over and above to make the occasion extra special and we both feel incredibly blessed for the service and kindness from the staff. Plus the meal itself left us in a very happy food comatose state for the rest of the day. Thank you so much The Lookout, we can’t wait to return and you definitely ‘made’ my husband’s birthday."
