"Nice place to try. being a long-time customer I can say that located in a strategic point you can park outside after a certain time as there is a single yellow line or you can go a little further and park in a street called Church lane I think. The simple place as usual but that's enough to attract, I noticed some changes compared to the last time as the buffet before was in the center of the room and you could help yourself now I think for Covid-19 the situation has changed so everything comes to you served by the kitchen. The menu is practically not needed since the only reason to go there is the meat buffet as it is usually good, if you get familiar with the waiter even better. The bathrooms are located upstairs. The drink costs money but I think this is what the place brings. To try and see."

"service was slow, many items were not on stock. the staff serving the meat came around every 5/7 minutes and cut the smallest cutting of the meat. the toilet was so unhygienic and had a disorder with the door that did not close it (not very nice to eat with a partly opened toilet door). I would like to come back because these problems might have been a switched-off scenario, but I doubt I would go back to putney. I'm sorry."

"After previous great time at Putney branch tried the Queensway branch to be very highly disappointment. Had to ask the person checking up on our table whether everything is ok to check whether the team is serving the meat as they were very lacklustre and didn’t make any attempt to service the diners. Why do one have to ask for the staff to come to the table to serve the meat? One of the servers was constantly sniffling and pulling up his nose which is definitely signs to being unwell. Don’t they do their due dilligence to ensure the health and safety of the guest as well as other staff? Ordered red wine and was given rose how could anyone get this wrong? Using the salad bar there’s constantly staff filling take away orders in the take away containers which results guests having to wait for them to finish. Ordered dessert and it never arrived after 25min of waiting for it called the person that took our order to query what’s happening. He was clueless and asked us didn’t it arrive? About 4 staff just standing around close to the entrance and who knows everyone just standing around in the kitchen area? They then offered free dessert which we declined as the experience was already soured beyond reconciliation. Not looking for freebies or handouts and just paid up leaving without dessert as to just get out of the place. Very bad experience, definitely won’t recommend and shall avoid in future."

"Food and service was great. But they were out of quite a few things on the menu- delivery issues. A chair we were given was torn on the seat surface and stuck with tape. The tape left a sticky mark on clothing... the restaurant said they had nothing to cover it up with when asked. Also noisy kids were wandering around from a larger party. Aside from that, it was a nice venue with really attentive staff. :"

"We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant filled with an abundance of meat! It was a good thing we made a reservation for 8pm on a Friday night, as we witnessed others being told there was a wait. We opted for the sharing meat platter and added three additional sides, which ended up being more than enough for the three of us! The food was delicious and the service was excellent (make sure to ask for the dessert board to enhance your dining experience). The only drawbacks were that the macaroni and cheese lacked flavor and the beer was only available in either half-pints or two-pint jugs."
