"The food and service at the Leven Hotel were excellent. Unfortunately, during our visit, we observed individuals moving through the dining room and bar without masks on, despite COVID-19 guidelines. The staff and manager did not address this issue, and only requested that guests use hand sanitizer upon entry. This lack of enforcement of safety measures was disappointing, especially considering the positive reviews we had read. We were dissatisfied and concerned about the hotel's disregard for safety protocols. We will not be returning for future meals or events if such basic safety measures are not followed. It is important for businesses like the Leven Hotel in Stokesley to adhere to government guidelines in order to help prevent the spread of the pandemic. We cannot recommend this hotel to others and suggest that potential guests consider other options."
