Don't expect to walk in and be seated during peak hours and seasons; do make a reservation and come with an appetite. High quality French cuisine is easy to associate with a large bill and a fair amount of pretense, especially when it's a facsimile of the real thing. If you find yourself in the area, treat yourself to Colbert and enjoy the genuine article. The cost is reasonable enough you may fancy bringing a mate too."
