"we visited fontana this evening for a Friday night dinner to sample her new menu and were greeted by the long standmaitre’d, the beautiful elaine. we had the fish cake and the tiger garnel and spaghetti for appetizers that were really divine, followed by...chorizo crippled hake and scallops with black pudding, again just amazingly delicious. for many years regularly in fontana, it is always excellent, but tonight stood as one of those extraordinary we get there every few years. stop the big workers! best don patterson"
