"While the associated hotel is beginning to look a bit shabby, this on site restaurant creates a cosy retreat and, dining with our children, was very warm and welcoming. A cosy wee bar but with plenty space in the restaurant. The food options catered for us all, and the pork belly in particular was sensational. I'd go back for that alone! The staff were very attentive and friendly, and when we asked to take away the kids' leftovers, they not only obliged, but had also made drawings of the contents on the lids for us which the kids promptly coloured in. Very nice touch, and a fitting end to a pleasant meal. We hope to be back!"
