"On the Saturday before Christmas, St Albans was heaving ... but there were only two other tables occupied when we arrived at the restaurant at and one of those was finishing their meal. We were in the back room, which didn't have he greatest of decors or ambience. However, the food was very good, though I thought the menu was rather uninspiring, but my main problem was with the pricing. for a bowl of pasta and bean soup ... similar for melon and ham...? The main courses were around which for a vegetarian pasta seems rather steep. I think that when there are so many good restaurants in St Albans, you have to be careful that you don't price yourself out of the market, and suspect this was the reason the restaurant was so quiet. Not sure I would go back for all these reasons"
