"We live locally and were really excited to come to the Swan as so many people recommended it in the neighbourhood. The Wheatshef is usually our go-to, but we gave Swan a try. Such a disappointment! Things started off nicely, but after we ordered and waited 45min+, the food never came! Not even the kids order (fish and chips). I asked the staff if they could check and 'they were plating it right up '. Once it came out, you could tell the pasta had been sitting out under the burner for quite some time and the beef roast was barely visible on my plate since the portion was EXTREMELY small. It 's like they didn 't have anything left and gave us the bottom of the roasting pan. Over 2 hours and £150 later, when I said something to the manager, we were offered a free pudding. This was a nice touch, but we decided to just leave as we had other things to do and it had already been so long. I 'm willing to try it again at another point and hope it 's a better experience. Just be a bit cautious and hopefully my experience was a fluke."

"I used to always rate Stuzzichini highly. We have had many enjoyable and memorable times with friends and family, experiencing top-notch service. However, on our recent visit for a special family meal, we were extremely disappointed. The service has declined significantly. Two members of our group did not receive their order of a basic Frangelico Affogato Al Caffé, and they were not informed until after everyone else had finished their desserts. Additionally, an extra order of bread was brought out after we had already finished our starters. The server's attitude was not up to par. We will not be returning and will definitely be sharing our negative experience with others. For the first time ever, I refused to pay the service charge. Overall, we rated the food a 4, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3."

"We have eaten at Olivo on several occasions and had a lovely lunch. However, how anyone gets a table now is beyond me! We put in an online request and a reply came back saying our request was 'pending '. As there was no reply after a few days I rang the restaurant . My name and email was taken and they confirmed they would look into this and get back to me that day. Nothing! We rang again. Apparently as the manager wasn 't in no one else could help, but someone would ring back. Again no phone call. We sent a follow up email asking what was going on and still no reply. We have now booked our party elsewhere and will not be repeating this experience! Olivo you need to sort out both your online booking service and your customer service as both appear to be a total failure!"

"I took my kids on Valentine’s Day to make them feel special. I’ve been to Caffe Mamma’s many times before but hadn’t been for a while. This time was hit and miss for me. I ordered chicken nuggets and chips for my son, but the nuggets were tough. He struggled a little with them, saying they were tough and dry. Our starters were nice. We ordered Calamari and prawns. Both lovely. When it came to main, I usually order pasta, but rather than going for my usual choice, I went for lasagne. I regretted it the moment it arrived. It was just full of tomato sauce. The waitress who took the dish back asked me what was wrong when she saw it wasn’t even barely touched. I told her it’s just drenched in tomato sauce, I could barely find any meat and just got stringy cheese and tomato sauce. I expressed I was disappointed with the dish. They did nothing. In the end, we ordered dessert which was ok. But when I paid the bill for £80, it left me feeling disappointed. I still kept a happy face for the kids but wished I’d booked the Chinese restaurant two doors down instead. I won’t be going back to Caffe Mamma’s after this visit."

"I have been searching for a new Italian restaurant in Sheffield ever since my previous favorite closed down. Many of the options I tried offered only basic pizza and pasta dishes, with their steaks being disappointing. I decided to take a chance and book a table at Vito's, and I'm so glad I did. The food was impeccably prepared and cooked, and the restaurant has a charming ambiance that extends to the owner and staff. Additionally, I was very impressed with the perfectly cooked steak that met my specific request (blue, which is often difficult to find). The ingredients used were top-notch and added a special touch that is sometimes lacking in the Sheffield dining scene. I am not asking myself if I will return, but rather how soon I can come back."

"Booked to come here to celebrate my Birthday with family. Have to admit, I haven't visited here since before 2019, my expectations were exceeded. They were most accommodating, due to the fact that some of my family members sadly became ill, so could not attend, however after informing Fiume, they were most gracious adjusted our table dinning requirements accordingly. The restaurant was very busy, however, that certainly didn't detract from the excellent attentive service that we received. From our starters of Crespella Ai Funghi E Salsiccia, to our mains of whole Seabass Flambe Di Gamberi, our food was superb, along with the very attentive waitress that looked after our table for our food drinks. It was quite a night, due to the fact that there must have been at least 6 other Birthday parties celebrating there, which was unusual to experience so many, . . just shows what a popular Italian Restaurant this really is. Thank You to all the staff chefs Fiume Italian Bar Restaurant, for making my Birthday celebrations an evening to remember. We'll definitely be back very soon."

"This place had all the components to be a fantastic brunch spot but we were disappointed from start to finish. We were greeted by the female manager (Julia? with a hostile reception, despite it not even being busy and our having booked. We consistently felt like we were an inconvenience and asking for too much, even when asking for a high chair. Our waiter didn't know the menu, which made it difficult in ordering and receiving the correct food the food wasn’t as described on the menu. The food came out at different times. The bill was wrong and rather than apologising, the female manager snatched it from my mother in such an aggressive manner we were left shocked. It turned what should have been a lovely family occasion into a stressful event."

"I recently dined at Nando's, and the food was absolutely delicious with no complaints in that department. However, there's definitely room for improvement when it comes to the service. Nando's has always been my go-to place for mouthwatering dishes, and this visit was no exception. The flavors were spot-on, and I couldn't get enough of their signature dishes. The menu offers a fantastic variety, and I appreciate that they prioritize freshly made food. Here's where my experience took a turn. After placing our orders, a friendly staff member informed us that our food would take twenty minutes because it was being freshly prepared. While I appreciate the commitment to freshness, it became frustrating when, after 30 minutes, our food still hadn't arrived. The most disappointing part was that we could see our food ready but unattended on the counter. Despite the restaurant not being particularly crowded, the staff seemed preoccupied with casual chatter among themselves. As a customer, it's disheartening to watch your meal sit untouched while staff members appear oblivious to the fact that it's ready to be served. In an otherwise pleasant afternoon, this service lapse cast a shadow over what could have been a great dining experience. Nando's, I adore your food, but please, let's work on the service aspect to ensure your customers don't leave with a sour taste in their mouths. "I had a fantastic experience at Ricci's. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for ambiance is because it was quite cold inside. Many customers had to keep their coats on, which was a bit disappointing. It was one of the coldest nights of the year, and I think they should have turned up the heating. Despite that, I still plan on returning because the food at Ricci's (and Ricci's Tapas) is the best in the area."

"Really really disgusted by the customer service, stopped by with my parents, half of the restaurant was empty due to the bad weather condition. We had waited 10 minutes at the door outside and then was seated outdoor, when waitress (or manager not sure) came to our table, I kindly said that we all want a bottle of wine with starters as a start, she very rudely told me to leave as the table was for dinner, did not offer another space, she left the table without an apology. I have never seen anyone this rude. Absolutely upset by this type of manner. Never ever going there again and will recommend everyone I know not to go."

"1st time here as was given a voucher by family who use this place regularly. Lovely place and very snug but comfortable inside if a little loud. It was my wife and I and our 3yr and 6 Yr old granddaughters. Starters came out and they were lovely. Very tasty and fresh. (I had prawn cocktail, wife had haggis and whisky sauce and the girls had garlic bread all lovely! . Then it was like we were forgotten about and when the mains finally came out I was a bit disappointed. The girls both had a simple 7 pizza both were burnt .... one worse than the other. I had the chicken breast with haggis and whisky sauce before I even touched the haggis all I could taste on the potatoes and veg was pepper whether a pepper sauce was used accidentally or that's how it normally tastes, I dont know. (They tried to tell me it was the haggis that was peppery and it was normal but I hadn't touched the haggis yet tried my wife's starter and that was lovely . Her steak was spot on (hard to mess up but she enjoyed that. Myself and the girls didn't eat much and to their credit they removed the items from the bill which was appreciated. The main insult was when the waiter just handed my card and receipt back without even looking at me or acknowledging my thank you and simply marched away. Like I said was a nice wee place and we were looking forward to trying it out we hadn't eaten since breakfast but won't be back. Appreciate the food removed from the bill but the waiters attitude (although not horrible outrightly was not acceptable."

"Great food and atmosphere (design) of restaurant. Unfortunately, I paid the service charge twice! I did not notice that on the bill is already added 12,5% and guess what is the first option when pay by card on the terminal? Another service charge option! I did not look closely at the bill so when waiter gave me the card terminal with service charge on the first page I thought that it is not already included in the bill. I think it is not fair! I was in rush so I did not claim it. Like I mentioned at the beginning of my review. Great food but service not great. They gave us drink and food and don 't ask is it everything okay with your food? later. It was full house but they should treat customers better."

"Terrible: Very poor value for money, food was mediocre (some dishes were over salted, some were bland), wine was way overpriced and not very good. There were 5 adults and one child in our party, none of the meals or drinks were interesting or special. Food took a long time, the kids meal arrived 1.5hrs+ after we sat down, we had to ask two times for it since our 4yr old was getting hungry. In the end, it was a plate of sausage and mash and I could have cooked something more interesting and tasty myself, in a fraction of the time. Worst of all was the service. The waiters were pushy, arrogant and not very effective. They spilled the wine down the side of the glass every time they poured it (my wine glass was also dirty when I sat down). They pushed extras and sides, felt like we were getting ripped off all the time. Food took a long time. Over and above this, they were very rude to us and we left feeling that they were trying to create a special restaurant but failing badly at it because the food wasn't very special, the service was terrible and the price was way too high. Very disappointed, would advise you to go elsewhere."
