"We went to this restaurant after looking for a place near Piccadilly Theatre for a birthday celebration before seeing Moulin Rouge. We had read positive reviews here and on Google, so we made a reservation for 5:30 before the 7:30 show. We were led down the steps to our table in the cozy, bustling space. A bottle of tap water was placed on our table along with the menus, and a staff member guided us through the menu, which was helpful. We decided to order the All In option, which was a great choice. We enjoyed the little amuse bouche starter bombes. The main course was impressive, especially for meat lovers. The chips were good, but the kale and parmesan side was a bit disappointing as the kale was too raw. We mentioned that it was a birthday celebration in our booking, and this led to a nice surprise. We were debating whether to order a starter in addition to the All In, and although we decided against it, our waitress Paulina overheard our conversation and added a mushroom on sourdough starter to our order as a complimentary gesture. It was a fantastic touch and we really appreciated it. We ended the meal with a delicious bread and butter pudding. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with great service from Paulina and a staff that seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. Plus, it was less than a 5-minute walk to Piccadilly Theatre.
