"patara is a beautiful little place in chelsea. I was so tempted to try the satay, but we went for another appetizer that was good, but not memorable and so I don't remember. the chicken greenery (has a fancier name in restaurant) and the duck red curry were good. hühner was better, tasty, not too spicy./ not a well-known Thai food really and can not really say the authentic from the riffraff, but this is nice, but a bit expensive. total good experience."

"The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely and the food is gorgeous, I couldn't get enough of the squid starter, all the dishes I tried (including the pudding were delicious. My 3yr old did go to the toilet about 5 times though because she loved the funky lighting and sparkly tiles :"

"The food was delicious, but the service left much to be desired. It appeared that a group of employees or family members was causing distractions, which affected the overall experience. Meanwhile, other tables were served their full meals and had even paid before we received our appetizers. It's a shame, considering the food was quite good. Given that the restaurant was mostly empty, I expected better service."

"Whilst I accept that 6pm is early for an evening meal, a restaurant should not take a booking if they are not open at that time. We chose this restaurant on the back of other reviews and because it suited our evening plans. Even though it was out of our way, we did not mind as we are lovers of Thai food and it is difficult to find a good one. To say that we were disappointed to find the restaurant closed on arrival, after making a special trip on the tube and trying to find it on foot, is an understatement. Not being from London, this caused us a bit of a problem. My only recommendation would be to have a plan B ready, just in case they decide not to be open on your chosen evening."

"I enjoyed my experience in this facility so much. the food was wonderful and the staff very attentive. the kitchen staff went the extra mile when I advised them a special opportunity in advance. that really touched our evening. if they are looking for a Thai restaurant with great food, do not look further than patara."

"We were served by a beautiful lady who was delightful. The food was absolutely delicious, and we can't wait to return. My partner enjoyed the duck with tamarind sauce, while I had a dish with rice and tasty crumbs. I must say, the name of our beautiful server brings a gentle smile to my face."

"This particular Thai Square location is hard to locate and off the beaten path, so I would recommend avoiding it. I have been to other Thai Square restaurants that were excellent, so I was disappointed on Valentine's Day with the poor service (only 2 overwhelmed waiters), subpar food (overcooked and cold), and overall atmosphere of despair. It was far from a romantic dining experience, which was a shame considering my high expectations. Save your money and dine elsewhere!"

"My mistrust of certain cuisines being cooked well in London restaurants has left me either missing out completely or just eating my favourite foods on a very in frequent basis. The Mexican revolution that happened what, last year. Yes, I was the only one who never went to certain joints to try their tacos and wraps. Mexican food does not travel well. It should. Like any other complicated cuisine it just takes time and a bit of love to reproduce those wonderful dishes. But for some reason all we get here is a slap dash bad reproduction churned out to the masses as gourmet food. Tacos are not gourmet food. You go to Mexico and tacos are less than 10p each and sold on street corners as a quick snack. Thai food, also has that same feeling with me. I love Thai food, in Thailand, just not over awed with it here in London. Although I have found a few places that I think do a pretty **** good job of recreating another great food on these shores. Kaosarn is another exponent of this. I'd been"
