"I visited this restaurant based on the very good reviews. The older male waiter with the short hair was so rude! We kindly asked if we could be seated on another table as the restaurant was empty but had us seated besides the staff table and another couple during covid19. He responded you are 2, not 6. We didn 't complain that we wanted a bigger table, just another table to be more socially distanced. Funnily enough there were 2 women seated on a table for 6 so I 'm not sure why he let them sit on a table for 6 but wouldn 't allow this same treatment for us. We told him this wasn 't an issue and we would stay seated. He then complained to another staff that we wanted another table. She kindly offered us another table but once again we assured him that we were fine with where we were seated. He continued to speak to us rudely throughout the evening. We spent £100 and spent less than 40 minutes in the restaurant because of how uncomfortable this waiter made us feel. Food was decent but the wagyu beef was overpriced and what tasted like cheap meat would rather spend £50+ on a good steak somewhere. The grilled eel was lovely and can 't be faulted. If you want good Japanese food there are plenty of good spots in the Soho area. This restaurant wasn 't busy on a Saturday evening but we still had the most appalling service."

"Tried this place on the way back from the gym tonight as it's always jam packed when I pass it, seems to be a good sign even though it's quite small. It's very authentic, you can hear the kitchen sizzling in the background and there's a lovely positive and friendly vibe, almost as if you were temporarily transported to Thailand ! I only had a main course and decided to deviate from my usual thai red chicken curry. It's a really extensive menu for a small place and I went for hoh mok Kai, which is steamed chicken in red curry paste and coconut milk with egg and thai herbs according to the menu. A bit dry for my liking but I'm glad I tried something new. The quantity was enough for two very hungry people, maybe I look like I need beefing up !! Anyway defo worth a trip for some very real Thai with great service."

"Omg… found another gem of Thai food!!!!!! Was a little sceptical with so little review in google… but lucky we decided to made order through Ubereat!!! Uber eat driver took a little long so next time we will drive there to collect… plus… I think the prices on Ubereat and Deliveroo are higher… Anyway… as for the food!!! ALL dishes we order tasted amazing!!!!!!!! I will give a 6 stars I am not fond on fried rice usually and so the vegetable fried rice was ordered for my 2yo and 5yo… but… Oh my… I think I will order for myself next time… Every dishes stand out so I don’t have a favourite yet as they are all soooooooo good!!! "After a lovely day, we just had the worst meal we've had in Liverpool. Avoid Rosa's Thai on Albert Dock. We went in because the menu looked good and the restaurant was obviously popular. It was packed. We soon found the two kitchen staff, and two waiting staff plus manager were catering for a full restaurant, a private party upstairs, and takeaway orders. This explains the terrible service but not the bad food or appalling attitudes. Steve's beef massaman had a nice sauce but inedibly tough meat and tough potatoes. Even the sliced onions were semi-crunchy rather than tender. My crispy chicken with garlic rice was edible despite being almost cold so we shared that. My roti was so greasy it stuck together in a solid mass in its paper sleeve. The couple on the next table were there when we arrived and had ordered. The table on their other side was filled just after ours. The table on their other side got their food before us. I could see ours sitting under the heat lamps waiting to be served with theirs, and it showed up soon after. The first couple's didn't. As we were eating, a waitress came and asked if they wanted the bill so they told her they wanted their food. She immediately spoke to the manager who did nothing. After another few minutes Steve spoke to the manager who not only did nothing, but walked way without answering him. They left without being served and without an apology. We told the manager how unhappy we were and she removed the beef massaman from our bill. She offered to refund the service charge but walked away without doing so. She did not apologise for anything, but spoke to us in the manner of a robot who was just too busy to turn on the empathy circuit, or indeed the customer service programme. I understand completely that she and the staff were overwhelmed. There's no excuse for making that the customers' problem, or for a classic slow-cooked Thai dish to taste as if it were hastily assembled from leftovers and not given long enough in the microwave. Even a minimal apology could have helped mollify everyone, but it wasn't on offer. So if you want a good meal in Liverpool there are lots of places. Unfortunately Rosa's Thai on Albert Dock is not one of them."

"Nice little restaurant for a casual dinner. Friendly staff and nice food. Food was tasty but not outstanding for its type. Falafel for example had a sauce drizzled over which was tasty but was not much of it. Hummus was nice but lacked a bit of zing. Good value I thought."

I was spoiled when I visited gk in the other night . art fine eating stylish decor with authentic tasty Thai dishes to wash with their very original signature cocktail called 'ginger kiss' is one has to try. the place evoked a type of distant rest married with elegant inside (loved the green wall) and fresh orchid flowers swimming in the minuscule vases complimenting the table clever mise en place. very recommended with delicious dressed and creative cocktails menu must visit to appreciate it! well made marisa!"

"We have been coming here for years but our recent experience was terrible. Service was appalling, they were not busy in the restaurant but very busy with take aways. We arrived at 7pm and left at 8.35 having only had a starter platter in that time. We waited almost an hour for our main course to arrive and then gave up and left. They still presented the full bill to us despite our dissatisfaction and when we complained they took only £5 off it. Wine took ages to arrive as did starters, as did water. They also took 15 mins to tell us they were now out of house white wine. Didn’t offer an alternative for the same price. The management here is clearly an issue, they also need to decide in the kitchen where their priorities lie. Diners or take away! We will not be going back anytime soon as we left hungry and went to another restaurant nearby. I hope you take this review seriously and take actions to ensure no one else has to sit though a similar experience"

"Terrible service actually the worse I have experienced in a long time I was still eating my main and we got given the bill she then brought the card machine over 2 seconds later asking me to pay the bill all whilst still eating as the forgot my main so had to wait whilst everyone else was eating she then put the cost in the machine £30 over then what the bill said I didn’t notice this until it was too late and we had paid finally the manager came over laughing and found it funny we had been over charged by £30 she arranged a refund but so rude and just a terrible attitude the stuff had won’t be returning"
