"Staff were really friendly and found me a table in the bar area on a busy Saturday night. Service was attentive and my vegetarian lasagne and brownie were delicious, as was the raspberry muddle cocktail. I was too late for the earlybird deal, but even so it was reasonably priced. A nice treat on my visit to Hexham : Vegetarian options: Lovely veggie lasagne! "I'm not sure if it was a mistake with the booking app or the restaurant, but I made a reservation for a table for two for my girlfriend and myself. We live far apart due to work and don't get to see each other as often as we'd like, so we were looking forward to a romantic meal here for Valentine's Day on the 15th. When our taxi arrived, we found the restaurant dark and closed with no sign of life. We had never been there before and were disappointed, as we had been looking forward to our meal together. We ended up at Prezzo instead, sitting next to a large table of 20 people. It was a letdown."
