"We have frequented here often when we visit Edinburgh and it’s only fair to give a review when you are satisfied as people are too quick to complain. We went in early, me and my partner and I ordered a burrito and my partner ordered a quesadilla. The young girl who was serving was unsure about the quesadilla as she must have just started and the male worker was supportive and guided her well. She was very pleasant and welcoming and the male worker packed a mean burrito and he was also polite. The staff are always lovely in here. The burrito was amazing. Their shredded beef is outstanding. They were serving whilst managing loads of online deliveries and just multitasking on a busy New Year’s day at ease with a smile. This shop is a credit to the Bar Burrito franchise."

"I'm a regular customer who's come here countless times over the years. Sadly I've watched the place fall apart recently. I came in with my friend to be rushed through and barely listened to as a server used a harsh rude tone with me. As someone who suffers from social anxiety I really didn't enjoy this treatment. It was overstaffed with too many people getting in the way and the staff barely filling the burrito which has become an issue recently. I then unwrapped the burrito to find there was guacamole and sour cream on the outside of the wrap. Neither of which I ordered which makes me question how often gloves are changed which is key to food hygiene. A server then came over and took my friends tray despite me still eating and without saying anything and just walked off which we thought was very odd behaviour especially as I've worked in the catering business before and that's not correct behaviour. Honestly I've tried giving the place many second chances at this point I'm done and will be getting food else where. Wouldn't recommend until the place changes their act."

The food is incredibly tasty and the staff at Hope St are outstanding, they are very attentive to your order to make sure you receive the best. If you're searching for somewhere to dine, this is the place for you. You will not be let down, guys."

"Vegan Burrito options were Tortilla Wrap filled with either black beans or pinto beans plus either mixed veg (onions paprika etc. or vegan 'ch*cken'. I chose the vegan chicken. Then there were a few different varieties of salsa. I also opted for guacamole in mine and the sum came to £9.50. I would be a little expensive for what you get, but was quite delicious and fill enough. Too bad you can't choose half stars in the rating, as 3 stars feel a little hard, but 4 seems too generous a total of 3.5 stars from me."

"first day back to the office with my new job. I came to lunch and found barburrito right next to my office. I never ate here, so I was a little sceptical to step my order as vegetarian. However, I had a good conversation with the manager joanna there and she shared the vegetarian options for me. once she learned that after two years my first day is in the amt, she offered me a supplementary meal. the taste was good and it wasn't too hot. I will definitely recommend it. I think I sorted out my lunch when I'm in the office. thanks for their warm welcome and hospitality."
