"eating in caffe tartine was simply amazing. the portions were all cooked for perfection and of plentiful size. they were prepared and served in good time, especially considering that they are cooked clearly by scratches, as the quality is so good. the deserts were just as good as the most important courses and fit clearly to the restaurants French inspiration. the staff are very friendly and were more than helpful so that our party sits at a table near some cans so that we are able to load our phones. the resturant also has a dog friendly winter garden that allows people to bring their songs into them (provided they are good behavior.) if this place was local for me, then I would certainly be a more regular, offered the amazing price and the outstanding quality of the food."

"The anglers rest is a great venue, one of my favourite spots to visit especially in the summer and it brings back great memories for me too as I went to school close by, even though I'm not local it was a place I met my friends who are from the area It has changed hands a couple of times over the years, well at least the food end of it has but in fairness it has always remained consistently good however since wrights took over it has really upped its game. "Overall excellent, live duo (Thursday) great but performance area position could be better for diners not to have to sit next to PA speaker! Service food decor all great. I’d like to see table cloths or something to smarten up the tables as they look a bit dull but this is just a little feedback, we had a fab dinner, will recommend and look forward to our next visit. "A very pleasant pub, full of little cosy nooks. The staff were really welcoming and hung out the birthday bunting for our occasion. The food took a while to arrive and although the pub had just opened, they had already run out of cod so I had to change my order, however there were plenty of appetising options on the menu so I had no problem choosing an alternative. Everyone's food was delicious. Overall a lovely experience and would definitely return."
