"As the title says, the breakfast was decent (muesli, cereals, full English and tea/coffee). However, whilst the room was clean and the location of the hotel was ideal for us (Being 5 mins from St. Pancras station and 30 mins from Soho Theatres), the room was extremely hot and the noise from the bar below was very loud. Admittedly, the music quietened after midnight and there was a small fan in the room but overall I cannot deny our nights sleep was poor. Also, when checking in you have to go to the bar to check in (afterwards you enter via a side door) which I didn't like and I didn't find the manager who checked us in to be all that hospitable too. We clearly had 2 big cases, and my girlfriend couldn't get hers up the 2 flights of narrow stairs but he didn't offer to take one of the cases and help- he'd rather watch me struggle with both. For £130 a night, I had expected a better quality nights sleep and more hospitable staff. We stayed at the Grange Whitehall hotel last year when we came to the theatre and we paid around £100 a night. There was a bell boy on the door there and a far superior room/nights sleep overall. A B&B of this size clearly has no need for a bell boy etc but instead should have a pricing structure that reflects its quality. I wouldn't stay again!"
