"The staff at the restaurant were excellent and attentive, but unfortunately, the food and drinks were very disappointing. The drinks tasted like cleaning fluid and the starter had to be sent back because it was cold. The mains were no better, with cold chips, corn that tasted like wet cardboard, and tasteless chicken. It was a disappointing experience and will be my first and last visit to this restaurant."

"The salad bowl was a total mess. Even though there was no self-service, there was no pasta salad and many other items were missing. The ingredients that were available were mixed together in an unappealing way, such as sweet corn in the beetroot. Many dishes from the menu were delayed, and when I asked about them, they were still not sent out. One dish didn’t arrive with the others, so I had to wait and inquire about the timing of the other orders. Overall, it was quite disappointing."

"One of our two local pubs in Woodchurch. Food, Beer and Wine, they have a Great Selection. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere is really great, a real old fashioned English Pub which has a lot going on throughout the year. Beer Festivals, Live Bands, Morris Dancers, Quizes, Hog Roasts and of course their superb Sunday Roast. Very reasonable prices as well. "Lovely little Restaurant overlooking the Marina, Ordered the Half rotisserie, Always tender juicy chicken, with a Lip smacking gravy! We went as a group of 4 with 2 kids... The Mrs. Had the rump steak done Medium.... Wooooooow... Each bite of beef... Yummy I shamelessly are from my brother's and sister in law's plates too..because the food was so tasty... They ordered the 3 item tapas... No regrets... The biggest surprise was the Cauliflower in batter ... I don't know why but I felt like there should be bucket options for that item...instead of plate... definitely recommend"

"I must say it's the second time that we met in this fantastic gem of a restaurant. I was online looking for a central location so that all my family members come together, like every family member came from another location, south east london, kent and east sussex. we all found this place very warm, friendly and welcoming and so great eating along with a brilliant service for a realistic price. I would also add that it is not one of these restaurants where it takes to read the menu either, they have a small but tastefully varied menu that corresponds to each taste buds, along with an excellent selection of quality wines. I would recommend this restaurant for everyone; the parking lot is also a great plus, as it is only at the back of the restaurant. so easy for such a centrally located position."

"I booked a table at your Plymouth restaurant after a few weeks visiting your Torquay restaurant which was excellent I know it is half Term was I expected it to be busy which it was our orders were taken very quickly which I was impressed how ever after our starter we had to wait an hour for our main course which I was not happy with my dad being 85 years old ordered the simply chicken I could not believe it it was burnt like many men his age he doesn’t like to complain but my poor dad could not eat any of the chicken so worried about him it really put us all off our meal"

"I believe they need to work on improving the personal service and engaging in better conversations. The service was quite slow, with many tables being left with dirty dishes and glasses for too long while staff members stood around. Our drinks only arrived after we had finished our meal, and it seemed like the staff could have paid more attention to our table. Additionally, I believe that the kitchen staff should wear masks, as we observed a cook handling food after blowing his nose without washing his hands. The salad bar had a low standard, as our salad was prepared by a young girl who touched it with her fingers, and the salad appeared brown and wilted. The restaurant had a damp smell and was in need of a renovation, with the furniture outside being dirty and uninviting. We have enjoyed dining at many restaurants in the past, but I must say that this was the worst experience we have had."
