"Food took ages to come out and when it finally did the portion sizes were extremely small. Then when one of the waiters asked us how everything was I told him the portions were tiny and he replied “they are normal portions” and walked off (not helpful). The food didn’t taste great and it is extremely overpriced for the small amount you get. The place is not suitable for children, it was my sons birthday but it is not a child friendly hotel. Such a shame as it’s a nice place but the staff let it down."

"The warm brown bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cauliflower velouté was a delightful dish, well-seasoned and full of flavor. The lemon sole was large and complemented perfectly by the hazelnut butter sauce. The short rib fell off the bone, which made it incredibly tender. The sticky date toffee soufflé was the highlight of the meal - utterly delicious and hard to resist. I will definitely be returning for more!"
