"Very disappointing. I booked private room for my 50th and had someone come to decorate room before arriving she advised me that the manager Darren was rude to her when she arrived and told her to stop whilst he was speaking to some random person. I was advised £20 per head and I paid for extra 2 as they couldn’t go but didn’t want to say. Now checking bill I have been given a £30 service charge which I was never advised about. After settling drinks and food bill no one came to me and asked if everything was ok, so we just up and left even though we had room for another hour and half. Wasn’t willing to spend any more money. Will say food was lovely and bar staff was pleasant enough. But just found the guy Darren very off not sure if he owner or manager but seriously needs to brush up on manners if he wants people though that door! Everyone asked me today how Bistro 210 was gave them the honest answer won’t be back!"

"Food was lovely and the presentation was great but overall the service let it down. We arrived on time and stood waiting for a while by the entrance way. Only two members of staff working on Mother’s Day to our suprise. We then walked toward the bar area to get noticed but we stood waiting again and were ignored by the staff until such time as we were finally acknowledged and told to sit anywhere we liked. Felt like we could’ve been told this from the start when we were passed multiple times. So unfortunately this put a damper on the day as we expected more from a hotel restaurant."
