"I booked Bokan 37 for the views, especially on bonfire night. When I got there I found the service to be friendly and welcoming. It was slightly hampered by the waiters not being able to reach all four settings at the table and us having to pass things for them. I was very pleasantly surprised by the food, which was well cooked and very well presented. The menu was limited, a sign that it was being prepared fresh rather than a lot of pre-prepared ingredients. The portions were adequate rather than substantial, again a sign of attention to detail. The wine list is quite extensive but I stayed with house wine by the glass. It was pleasant and complimented the food well. I would certainly go back for the views, even more now I know I can enjoy them with some good food and wine."
