"Interestingly eclectic space which combines a small Neighborhood market, butcher shop, a wine store, and a deli with an extensive hot food bar fullOf yummy southern comfort foods, delicious broad spectrum of made to order sandwiches including a Cuban and Banh Mi. They also have a friendly, helpful staff. We had Banh Mi (not exactly like I have had before, but very tasty) served with some yummy chips and we topped it off with a slice of Italian cake which was a genuine slice of heaven. There are plenty of tables available and real cutlery so you don’t have to fumble w/plastic junk. Worth the quick trip From downtown."

"The wait is over. The bear of burgers is here. And for what I gathered when I asked other people what do they think: TASTY is the least they have to say. We tried a kids burger, we tried the veggie and we tasted the double. None of them disappoint at all. Bun, sauces and the best meat ever dancing on the plate. No wonder as they use Popti Beast 's meat, a butcher in St Werburghs area with so much quality and flirt you should stop reading now to make your way there and have a chat and buy some of the best meat from people with so much passion, money well spend. Anyway, all the burgers were amazing, tasty, perfectly cook, nice bun etc. I will definitely be back even though the price point is not as enjoyable as the experience, and I will explain is just a minute why I call it that. I had in mind to have a good go at the triple burger. But at £17 is a bit much even for a burger lover. So I went for the double one to see if it live up to so much hype. And it did. It definitely did. I saw couple of triple ones making their way to other tables. And I couldn 't feel nothing else but jealousy. I 'm sure I 'll get over the price tag soon and I 'll be there with my family again. I love burgers, I can 't stop having them. But what I love more than burgers is great service. And at Burger Bear they do that incredibly well. Nothing was too much for the team. The extra mile is a massive understatement in this establishment. Very quickly stop being dinner to continue to be an experience. The kids were well look after and that is the best trick in a restaurant from the staff: look well after my kids and I 'll look deep into my pockets when the bill comes out . Adults were properly look after with great gin and slim lime tonic (they didn 't have any but they went out of their way to get some for us) and extra icea and all the answers etc. All the boxes were tick and re-tick. Very quickly we forgot about the price tag and enjoy as we felt comfortable. Go, have a go, try what the bear is doing. He is doing it well. Him and his team are set for success in a saturate market with burgers and bad burgers. Eddie"

"A Bear Hunt To a faraway land more commonly known as Stoke Newington, a pair of wonderers set out on a quest. Their journey was treacherous, the heavens opened and yet the two travellers continued on their merry way. They were going on a bear hunt and by golly were they going to catch a big one, even if it cost them their lives (or the cab fare back to civilisation). Either way, neither would be swayed in their mission Cue Stokey Bears on Stoke Newington Road and the latest partnership between Bear Hug Brewing and Tom Reany from Burger Bear. Hopping on the ‘Ella holding things infront of her face' train, meet Matt The List who can be seen modelling the AW14 Stokey Bears Menu. The...read more"
