"probably the worst place I've ever had for lunch. minute waiting for chips, cheese and curry sauce, cost and I hardly got a handful of chips and the curry sauce was a firm block of gels in the tub. not the first bad experience here. I'm not back."

"The food at this restaurant was delicious and served hot. They had a good variety of options on the menu. There were other diners when we arrived at 7:00, but the crowd thinned out by the time we left at 8:30. It seems like some nights are busier than others, so booking a table in advance might be a good idea. Overall, it was a fantastic discovery with great value for the money. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a dine-in dinner service."

"We visit this restaurant almost every week, and I usually order a small carvery, which I believe costs £6.29, while my friend opts for the traditional carvery. They offer a variety of dishes as well. The meat and vegetables are always delicious and cooked just the way I like them—al dente. I typically choose the beef, and the friendly chef serves up a generous and flavorful portion. All the staff are very welcoming, and we usually receive our food in a timely manner. We typically arrive around noon, but yesterday we came a bit later at 2:30, and the food was still fresh and plentiful. It looked very appetizing too. We also took advantage of Meercat Rewards from Monday to Thursday, which allowed us to enjoy 25% off both food and drinks—a fantastic deal! Even without that discount, the food is excellent value for money. I highly recommend this place!"

"We were at the golf club yesterday for my daughters wedding ceremony and reception. I could not fault anything throughout the day. A totally perfect venue with the terrace area overlooking the course, very professional staff, superb food and very well organised. There were 75 people seated for the ceremony in the room attached to the main dining room. Whilst we were having the main reception meal, the ceremony room was converted to cater for the live band and dance floor in readiness for 120 people for the night do. The whole day passed as though the staff had done this on numerous occasions but I have had confirmation from my daughter that this was a first for the gold club to have the ceremony, reception and evening do. The attention to detail throughout was excellent. I would also like to say how welcoming the club members were as we interrupted their golfing day. A totally unforgettable day for all the right reasons. On collecting our car today, I was asked by several members how the day had gone and they were all genuinely interested and very pleased that we were completely happy with everything the club had organised"
