"The service at this restaurant was okay, with very nice staff. However, the food was bland and poorly cooked. The chicken wings were soft and had soggy fat, while the bruschetta with cheese was horrific, with a thick slab of cold cheese and a sweet, generic sauce. The bread was also cold. The pizzas were okay but lacked flavor and were poorly seasoned. The seafood cannelloni was described as horrific, with a pool of pink sludge. The salad was limp and appeared to have been dressed for lunch rather than dinner. The desserts were shockingly bad, with the Affogato made with bland ice cream and the crumb drowned in coffee, and the sundae resembling something a 10-year-old would make with squeezy ice cream sauces and whipped cream. Lastly, the pear tart was pale, soggy, and flavorless. Despite indicating that it was our son's birthday when booking, no reference was made to it. There was a billing mix-up at the end, which the staff handled well. Overall, it was an awful experience and our son's birthday meal was ruined. We will not be returning and would not recommend this restaurant to others based on our experience. The menu needs to be overhauled, possibly by removing items like chicken wings from an Italian restaurant. The cooking needs significant improvement, although the ambiance is good, decor is okay, and staff are friendly."
