"A pleasant restaurant. Ambience, decor, staff all good. It was just a shame it was let down by the quality of the food. Crab starter was served in a deep bowl, difficult to eat with a knife and fork and the meat too icy cold. Cold meats served with no accompaniments. Fish and chips, good apart from skinny chips (ok in McDonalds). Squid ink tagliatelle, was ok. Steak was good. Desert, Tart was too cold, pastry seemed uncooked, not pleasant. Drinks were OK, The Cosmopolitan cocktail was not a worthy of any reputable cocktail bar."
