"I have never written a review before but felt really disappointed this eve. I ordered a dansak from here, which is one of my favourite indian dishes. I don't mind mediuim spiced food and every dansak I have ordered from other indian restaurants I have...never had a problem eating. However I took one mouthful and it was extremely spicy (even my husband who likes hot dishes said it was spicy for him), in fact it was even spicier than his hot chilli masala . I telephoned to check I had been given the correct dish and the person on the other end told me yes. I explained that I was unable to eat it and how I had, had this dish many times before but I wasn't offered any alternative. That said, my husband enjoyed his meal and thank goodness for the onion bhaji, naan and rice. It was just disappointing about my meal."

"Really bland food, didn’t even have chilli sauce to accompany poppadoms the place has ‘Chilli’ in the title, charged us for poppadoms and three ‘sauces’ dry salad, mint yogurt and shop bought mango chutney totalling alone before we knew they didn’t have anything spicy to go with them. Other food was just weird, chicken tikka masala was bright pink orange with coconut in it?! and tasted like a dessert it was so sweet. Seemed like it was taken out of a jar or something, had consistency of a paste but was like eating sweet, thick, pink paint. No spicing in anything, lamb bhuna was just like eating lightly fried onions with a bit of meat, that’s it. Asked for the bill times before finally getting it even though restaurant wasn’t even half full. Was thinking they were taking their time to provide us with some minor treat as I’d mentioned it was a birthday. But no, nothing, they just took their time for no reason. Really bad food"

"I ordered a takeaway through deliveroo, and when it didn’t arrive (because the driver couldn’t find my address and “left” it somewhere else) I went to the Masti and they swiftly replaced my delivery and gave me a seat at a table and a drink whilst I waited. This was a busy Saturday night. Their food is ALWAYS delicious, and I’ve eaten in the restaurant and had take away and it’s always great quality. The manager was very polite, understanding and courteous. I will continue to use the Masti for their wonderful food: I will however order straight from them and avoid deliveroo from now on."

"I have been to India many times and regularly go to Drummond street or Wembley Central for a good Indian meal so I was totally disappointed with the takeaway from Teza spice. I saw bhel poori on the menu so ordered it along with an assortment of curries as I love a good bhel poori but what arrived was not a bhel poori but chick peas with red food colouring with three very chewy sad little poories on top, they are supposed to be crunchy, even the channa masala was the same chick peas with red food colouring and no visible vegetables. It all tasted terrible and I would say definitely one to avoid."

Dark stained wood tables and booths An especially perky, clever, bright waitress. She explained it was tapas style, although we all know it is Not tapas. "Waited a few weeks before trying, to allow the place to settle. Wasnt sure what to try so played safe with pakora. Thinkng was that if a place can't get pakora right then that sends a clear message for more complex meals I'm afraid it was a brutal experience and in all honesty the worst pakora I have ever tried and trust me, like a few, I have probably eaten my weight in pakora over the years Other places cook and reheat too, I get it, but this was dry chicken pakora closer to rubber than chicken. And even if not made well at least other places give you chicken breast. A few bits were something else, gristle? Chucked those bits away, then quickly threw the rest in the bin Sorry if you cant make the simplist of food, then no chance of trying anything else. Shame"

"Indian restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent had been highly recommended to me by friends, so my expectations were high. I placed my order online and picked it up shortly after. The food was delicious and piping hot, with generous portions. The service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable. "Great food and very good environment. Went there for an iftar buffet and it was superb. The variety was great and the taste of the food was really good. All halal and plenty vegetarian options. The juice and the dates were so good and the real treat was the tea at the end! Definitely will go there again. I really am sad to take off two stars. Went there again and at the counter I was charged 10 pounds for my 2.5 year old with eating disorder. When we told him he said we charge for the seat, not the food!!!! So pay 10 pounds for my toddler to just sit on their chair??? Then he changed his mind and took off the 10 pounds from our bill and made a face as if we are beggars. My husband asked him many times to take it but he just said it’s ok. During the iftar I stood in long queues for the food and by the time I arrived, there were no grills. I went back to my table and tried again with the long queues and ended up having no grills again. Finally I was so full that I came back without eating grills that I loved so much during my first visit. During iftar cashier gentleman went around tables asking people how the food and service was, he never came to our table and gave us stares as if we are went there for free food. Overall the experience was very bad. Such a shame"
